Lilian Kirimi is a Senior Research Fellow and Research Coordinator at Tegemeo Institute of Agricultural Policy and Development, Egerton University. Kirimi holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Michigan State University and has ten years of experience in policy research and analysis as well as outreach and advocacy. Over the years, she has gained experience in research using both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Her research activities and interests are in the areas of food security, poverty reduction, value chain studies, agricultural productivity, market access, climate variability and change as well as gender analysis. Currently, she is expanding her interests and focus to include monitoring, learning and evaluation.
